Yahweh indicates the Personal

It is unfortunate that Christians read the road map of their lives and fail to notice how many times the personal name of God is spoken, because the impersonal position of "LORD" has been subsituted in its place. This tends to warp people's perceptions of what is important in the Bible, because the map or paradigm of perception is warped by a lack of knowledge. Not long ago I found out why in a Greek context the writers of the New Testament would want to avoid the use of Yahwehh as God's personal name. The question is whether we today live in the same context, so that avoiding God's personal name is still necessary. I will at a later time bring to light what I found in the Greek context in greater detail, but let it suffice for now that they thought the name itself has inherent power alone separate from the deity or god. Since most of my friends and aquaintances do not have that problem, could we now change the practice of avoinding God's personal name? I think so. Why not? We are not like them (the Greeks)!
